0

The Dublin City Council Dublin Kite Festival event of this year will provide a jam packed day of exhilarating fun for all the family in North Bull Island, Clontarf on Sunday 18th June 2017.

Last year’s Dublin Kite Festival attracted attendees from around the country, brandishing an array of
kites ready to take to the skies and beautify the Dublin skyline with a jumble of colours! Take your
towel and your flip flops and enjoy a carefree Sunday afternoon on the beach reliving childhood
memories of kite flying whilst having fun with friends and family.

Whether attendees are brilliant kite fliers, or failing kite triers everyone will get off the ground in the
end. At the Dublin Kite Festival there are plenty of kiting experts ready to lend a hand! The day will also boast lively music events, exciting games, kite making workshops and even a kite flying competition!

This year’s Dublin Kite Festival is on Sunday 18th June 2017 from 11 am to 5 pm on North Bull
Island, Clontarf.

transporting you to this year’s festival in style!
There are loads to see, from kite demonstrations, competitions, a food village, and more. You canal so make and purchase kites at the event.
FLOPS:
Bring good shoes to walk on the sand as the beach could have been cleaned a bit better before the
event!
